The company frames the move as a validation of AI-driven development and a step toward scaling AI-native delivery across its projects. These reported reductions target core stages of software delivery and, if sustained, would shorten project timelines and resource needs.
According to Simplex, Codex was the primary tool driving the reductions in design and build time, while ChatGPT Enterprise underpins broader AI-enabled processes. The company says it used the tools to test and refine AI-assisted workflows rather than as a narrow automation experiment, positioning the technology as an integrated part of its delivery model. Simplex describes this phase as a validation of AI-driven development — an attempt to move from pilot experiments to repeatable, organization — wide practices.
