Singular Bank has deployed Singularity, an internal assistant built with ChatGPT and Codex, to help bankers prepare for and run client meetings more quickly. The bank says the tool analyzes client portfolios, surfaces the most relevant issues in real time and recommends actions, allowing relationship managers to reduce time spent on preparation, analysis and follow‑up by roughly 60 — 90 minutes each day. Singularity monitors portfolios for concentrated positions, elevated exposure and overall imbalance, and highlights those items for immediate attention. By presenting those signals in real time, the assistant is designed to speed decision‑making during the typical workflow rather than leaving key issues buried in spreadsheets or delayed reports.
Beyond flagging problems, the assistant offers concrete next steps tailored to the flagged issues — for example, recommending that a banker reduce concentration in a specific holding, lock in gains on appreciated positions, or rebalance across sectors and asset classes. Those recommendations are intended to replace manual data pulls, reconciliations and lengthy preparatory work that previously absorbed bankers’ time.
The change to an assistant that works alongside bankers during the meeting shifts the focus of client conversations from data gathering to advice and execution. According to Juan José Guerrero, a banker at the firm, the tool enables him to analyze portfolios in real time, which shortens prep time and keeps meetings centered on next steps rather than on compiling numbers.
