As a result of a joint five-year initiative between Stellantis and Microsoft, over 100 AI projects will emerge, aimed at improving customer experience and cybersecurity.
Stellantis and Microsoft announced a new strategic collaboration, which will last for five years. The initiative aims to accelerate Stellantis' digital transformation using advanced technologies in artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity.
Within the framework of the partnership, the development of over 100 AI initiatives is planned, covering customer service, product development, and operational processes. Key areas include optimizing AI-driven product development and validation, predictive maintenance, and the integration of new digital features and services in shorter timeframes.
The collaboration also includes enhancing the level of cybersecurity within the company. Stellantis intends to establish a global AI-powered cyber defense center, which will ensure rapid detection of cyber threats and protection of customer data. This will contribute to the security of connected services and increase resilience to cyber threats.
A key element of the strategy is the modernization of Stellantis' infrastructure using Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, which will allow for a 60% reduction in data — center footprint by 2029. This transformation will help create a more connected and scalable digital ecosystem, simplifying access to digital services and enhancing operational resilience across all stages of manufacturing and logistics processes.
